Terms & Conditions

Bookings & Booking Fees

  • All sessions require a booking fee to secure the date and time.
    This ensures your session is reserved exclusively for you and prevents double bookings.

  • Booking fees are non-refundable.
    Once a date is secured, it cannot usually be re-filled at short notice.

  • Booking fees are not deducted from the cost of your chosen image package unless stated otherwise.
    Your booking fee secures the session itself; image purchases are made separately.

Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • Photography sessions are date-specific services and are exempt from the 14-day cooling-off period under UK Consumer Contracts Regulations.
    This means bookings cannot be cancelled for a refund once a date has been agreed.

  • If you need to reschedule, please contact the studio as soon as possible.
    Where availability allows, we will do our best to move your session to a new date.

  • Cancellations made within short notice may result in the loss of the booking fee.
    Late cancellations leave insufficient time to offer the slot to another client.

  • Failure to attend your session without notice will be treated as a no-show.
    In these cases, the booking fee is forfeited and the session is cancelled.

Illness, Emergencies & Unforeseen Circumstances

  • We understand that illness and emergencies can occur.
    Please contact us as soon as possible if something unexpected arises.

  • Refunds are not automatically issued for illness or emergencies.
    However, where possible, we may offer a reschedule or studio credit at our discretion.

  • Studio credit, if offered, will be valid for a specified time period.
    Credit must be used within the timeframe provided.

    Late arrivals may reduce shooting time.

  • Additional people or changes to the session must be agreed in advance.

  • The studio reserves the right to refuse unsafe poses or requests.
    Your safety and your child’s safety always come first.

Images, Editing & Delivery

  • Images are professionally edited in the Hello YOU Studios style.
    Editing style is consistent and cannot be altered to suit personal preferences.

  • Unedited or RAW images are not provided.
    These do not reflect the finished quality of our work.

  • Turnaround times are provided as a guide and may vary during busy periods.
    Clients will be kept informed if delays occur.

Products & Orders

  • All image and product purchases are final once ordered.
    Custom products cannot be refunded or exchanged.

  • The studio is not responsible for colour variations between screens and printed products.
    Professional labs are used to ensure high-quality results.

Use of Images

  • The studio may use images for portfolio, website and social media unless otherwise requested in writing.
    This helps us showcase our work.

  • Clients may request privacy at the time of booking.
    Your wishes will always be respected.

Liability

  • Clients are responsible for their own children at all times during the session.
    The studio environment contains equipment and props.

  • Hello YOU Studios will not be held liable for accidents or injuries unless caused by proven negligence.

Postage & Delivery

If items are returned to the studio by Royal Mail marked as “not called for” or uncollected following attempted delivery, the client will be responsible for any additional postage costs required to resend the item. Alternatively, items may be collected from the studio by appointment.

Agreement

  • By booking a session with Hello YOU Studios, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
    These terms are designed to protect both the client and the studio.

  • By proceeding with your booking, you confirm that you have read and agree to our Terms & Conditions.
