WHY SHOULD YOU BOOK A FAMILY PHOTOGRAPHER?

As a family photographer in Bournemouth, Dorset, and as a mum of 7 children, I know how precious creating memories together are. getting the whole family together, whether you have a brood of small children or older teenagers or even adult children, can seem like an impossible task, but you will not regret the wonderful portraits you create to hang on your wall.

I love capturing your natural relationships, the way you work together, laugh together, love each other.

You may worry that your children won’t co-operate, but please don’t! I have lots of experience in working with children of all ages, and I can get smiles out of the most sullen little faces. I don’t worry about perfect poses – I’ll gently guide you all in to positions that you are comfortable in, and then will encourage those natural expressions and big smiles.

I am an expert at terrible jokes that get big belly laughs!

Your family is your most precious creation. Updating family portraits is a fantastic opportunity to capture yours as they are, in the moment.

What to expect from your

FAMILY PHOTOGRAPHER IN BOURNEMOUTH, DORSET

When you decide to book me to capture your family photographs, you are choosing experience and expertise.

When you book, I’ll give you some guidelines on what to wear for your photoshoot. Plain colours are the best, as patterns and logos draw the attention away from your faces. But we can chat about this properly if you’d like some more advice!

When you arrive for your shoot, we will begin with a quick chat. I like to get to know you a little before I pick up my camera – work out who is the introvert and needs to be brought out of their shell, who is full of beans and may need encouraging to be calm, and to settle any nerves you may have.

Then when I pick up my camera, it’s not a song and a dance! I gently guide you to sit in ways that will be flattering, and let you interact with each other as you usually would!

Your family will last up to 1 hour in the studio, there is a small client wardrobe for babies, older girls and boys and the ladies. We will discuss styling in your pre consultation to work out the best outfits for your session.
