ABOUT YOUR PHOTOGRAPHER
WELCOME! I’D LOVE TO BE YOUR BABY’S PHOTOGRAPHER. I’M BASED IN BOURNEMOUTH, DORSET.
It’s great to meet you.
Hopefully you have found yourself here because you want to know some more about me. I’d love to be your photographer, but first, let me tell you who I am and why I do what I do.
I’m Samantha. You can call me Sam, but I’m most often called “Mum!” I have a lovely brood of seven children and they really are the reason I’m a photographer. I know from my own experience that time passes so fast when you have babies. The days are so long, but the years are short. When they are very little, days can sometimes feel like life is on pause, and sleepless nights feel like they may go on forever. But then you blink, and your newborn baby is smiling, laughing, sitting and then crawling. When you look back in a few years, you will recall the early days as a blink of a moment.
And you will always wish that you took more photographs, made more memories, remembered the tiny things and treasured every thing that changed, before it was gone forever.
And yes. You will even miss sleepless nights! Those quiet moments when it’s just you and your little one. When you have nothing else to do but stare at your baby, smell her gorgeous baby scent and take in every detail.
So book the photoshoot. And treasure the memories and the images and the experience for years. Decades. Forever.
I BELIEVE IN
making memories
Newborn sessions are perfect for recording the tiny details – your little one, curled up asleep, just like they were in the womb.
Older baby photography is known as a sitter session. When your little one’s personality is starting to develop, they are reaching milestones, and they are sharing their BIG smile!
And celebrating your baby’s first birthday should be a huge event – how about a cake smash?!
And if you want to preserve beautiful portraits of your whole family, then a family portrait will be perfect for you. Include everyone and display your images on your walls for decades!
