Throughout the year, we host a series of seasonal mini photo sessions exclusively at the The Gather at The Dolphin Centre in Poole.
These sessions are designed for families who love capturing the changing seasons with beautiful, professional portraits without the commitment or cost of a full studio session.
We visit the Dolphin Centre five times a year, with themed sets created for each season. These sessions are extremely popular and often sell out quickly, so booking early is always recommended.

The photo session itself is completely free to attend. You only pay for the digital images you love.
This makes it easy to plan ahead, choose a package that suits you, and budget confidently throughout the year.

For families who don’t want to miss a thing, we also offer a Seasonal Mini Session Subscription, the easiest way to capture your family throughout the year.
If you sign up before 1st February, your Valentine’s session is included and kicks off your seasonal year.
If you join after 1st February, your first included session will be Easter 🐣.

How long is a seasonal mini session?
Each session lasts approximately 15 minutes. These days are very busy, with families often booked back-to-back, so please arrive on time to ensure you get the full experience.
What happens if I’m late or can’t attend?
If you’re unable to attend your session, that’s absolutely fine — we just ask that you let us know as soon as possible so your space can be offered to another family. Due to the high demand for these sessions, late arrivals may result in reduced shooting time.
How busy are the session days?
Seasonal mini session days are very popular and can be busy, with queues at peak times. We do our best to keep everything running smoothly and appreciate your patience during these events.
How many setups will there be?
We usually create a minimum of three themed setups, and sometimes more depending on the popularity of the season.
Larger backdrops are perfect for family portraits
Smaller setups are designed especially for our younger guests
Are outfits or clothing provided?
Some seasons include limited clothing options, usually in smaller child sizes. These vary by theme, so please don’t rely on clothing being available for every session.
Can I bring a baby to the session?
Absolutely. If you’re bringing a baby under 6 months old, please let us know at the time of booking. This allows us to plan suitable props so your baby can be photographed safely and comfortably.
If you’re attending with older children as well, they’re often able to hold your baby on the setup where appropriate.
When will I see my photos?
Your image viewing takes place immediately after your session.
Our lovely assistant Kerri will guide you through selecting and purchasing the digital images you love.
When will my images be ready?
Your chosen images are professionally edited and delivered within 7 days, perfect for seasonal occasions such as Valentine’s Day.
How do I receive my digital images?
We deliver images via the My Safe Frame app, which is free to download on both the App Store and Google Play.
Once your gallery is ready, you’ll receive an email with a unique access code.
How long do I have to download my images?
You’ll have 7 days from receiving your access code to download your images before the gallery expires.
